60° Music Video Project Responsibilities:
Treatment Development: Conceptualized and wrote the initial treatment, outlining the project's creative vision and narrative direction.
Color Palette Selection: Determined the color palette to establish the desired mood and aesthetic.
Shot Composition: Planned and designed the visual composition of each shot, taking into account the unique requirements of 360° filming.
Shot List Creation: Developed a detailed shot list to ensure efficient and effective filming.
Storyboard Design: Created storyboards to visually represent the sequence of shots and guide the filming process.
On-Set Direction: Directed the artist and crew on set, ensuring the creative vision was realized within the 360° format.
Directed and partly edited Zimbabwe’s first 360° music video for Mwendamberi, a Zimbabwean artist, using the Kandao Qoocam 360 and VR software. This project, aimed at highlighting the impact of climate change in Harare, Zimbabwe, was created through Matamba Film Labs for Women, a Zimbabwean organization dedicated to empowering female filmmakers, with support from their partners, the Embassy of Ireland in Pretoria, South Africa.
